Rental Terms & Conditions

By completing your booking with Paddle Pickers, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Paddles & Condition

•       I agree to return the paddles in the condition in which I received them.

•       Paddle Pickers understands it is a sport, and paddles wear out with every use. If the paddles are not evidently abused (e.g., significant dents, scratches, or broken parts that render them unusable), you will be refunded the full security deposit amount within 3 working days upon receipt of the returned paddles.

•       Upon dispatch, Paddle Pickers will WhatsApp photographic evidence of each paddle’s condition. Customers are required to inspect the paddles upon receipt and flag any concerns via WhatsApp within 1 hour of receiving them. Concerns raised after this window or after the paddles have been used will not be considered.

•       Security deposit refunds will be made via PayNow to the phone number provided during checkout. Do ensure that the phone number provided is linked to PayNow.

2. Loss, Theft & Severe Damage

•       I understand that I am responsible for the paddles from the time of delivery until collection.

•       In the event of loss or theft, I agree to bear the full replacement cost of the paddle(s), which will be communicated by Paddle Pickers at the time of the incident. The security deposit will be applied toward this cost, and any shortfall will be invoiced separately.

•       Paddles returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear (e.g., cracked frame, broken handle, or damage rendering the paddle unusable) may result in partial or full forfeiture of the security deposit, and additional charges may apply depending on the extent of damage.

3. Payment & Late Return Fee

•       I agree to pay the paddle rental fees, shipping, and security deposit before receiving the paddles. I acknowledge that Paddle Pickers will ship the paddles only upon receipt of full payment.

•       I understand this rental is for the specified number of days. Any delay in returning the paddles will result in a late-return fee of S$20 per day, calculated from the day after the agreed return date. This fee will be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced separately if the deposit is insufficient.

4. Cancellations & Early Returns

•       Before dispatch: Cancellations made before the paddles have been dispatched are eligible for a full refund of rental fees and security deposit. Delivery charges, if already incurred, are non-refundable.

•       After dispatch: Once paddles have been dispatched, rental fees and delivery charges are non-refundable.

•       Early returns: Rental fees are charged for the full rental period as booked. No partial refund will be issued for paddles returned before the agreed return date.

5. Delivery

•       Paddle Pickers will not be liable for any delivery delays caused by late payment or an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout. The delivery period is a best estimate and is not guaranteed.

•       I agree to contact Paddle Pickers via WhatsApp before the last rental date to schedule collection.

•       A 2-way delivery charge will be applied to your order upon checkout.

•       Please note, delivery agents can wait up to 10 minutes only; a surcharge of S$0.40/min applies for any additional waiting time.

•       While we cover most locations, certain restrictions apply. We do not deliver to:

         Sentosa

         Changi Airport

         Changi Aviation Park

         Tuas area postal codes starting with 627, 628, 629, 638, 639

         Tuas South postal codes 636, 637

         Changi Airline House areas

6. Force Majeure

Paddle Pickers shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in delivery or collection caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions. In such events, we will work with you to find a reasonable alternative arrangement. Rental fees will not be refunded solely due to such delays.
